Early Works

1985-1988

“My Early works were primarily a search to ‘find myself’. My Sculpture expressed for me a mixture of my own feelings and experiences as a mother and as a woman, and also a statement on the  rising feminine intuitive energy in all of us.”

Initiation

1989-2001

“Initiation into creativity requires sacrifice and surrender. It asks the seeker of new consciousness to let go of what is. The artist becomes the initiate when he or she enters the creative void, the  stillness and source, to bring forth the new images and symbols that express their core. Their soul’s essence.”

Initiation to Surrender

“Letting go of all that negates life energy so that Spirit can flourish….I sometimes visualize this surrender as flames..”

Connections

1992 – Today

“For me this spiritual adventure was first an awakening to my inner self. My expanding consciousness showed me the connection to the Great Universal Source from which we all come into Being and dissolved all barriers to feel the Oneness with all Life.”

Connections 2

“Connection to Nature and All That Is.”

Breakthrough

1999 – Today

“My sculpture ‘Breakthrough’ describes breaking through barriers of limiting beliefs and ideas and  opening to exciting new levels of consciousness and experience. This sculpture takes its form from a real experiential breakthrough at the time. I let go of an enormous amount of fear and  inhibition and started scuba diving. I opened for myself a whole magnificent new world.”

Evolution

2001 – Today

“What started as a personal quest for self discovery expanded into a realization of a much larger, more powerful self, an integral part of the magnificent whole. It was no longer a question of “who  am I?” But “Who would I like to create myself to be?”

“I was guided to evolve both my consciousness and the physical forms of my life so that I could  weave more beautiful patterns into my life and my art.”

“Winged female faeries are the Soul’s messengers, representing the spirit freed from the mundane. They are creatures of aspiration and transcendence, flying between the worlds.”
